Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Curious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ran Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakamoto tries to clinch there but Curious circles away.

Sakamoto is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Curious has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Curious!

Sakamoto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Curious is fending him off so far but Sakamoto persists. Nope, Curious circles away and we're back to standing.

and Sakamoto counters by moving into the clinch.
Curious takes a shot to the head.
Sakamoto drops down looking for an ankle pick but Curious pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bruno Curious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ran Sakamoto.
Curious loads up on a big right hand but Sakamoto slips the punch.
Sakamoto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Curious tries to avoid it but Sakamoto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Curious to the ground. Curious escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sakamoto is trying to stick to Curious's back but Curious is turning into Sakamoto. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sakamoto's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Curious.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Curious has left one of his arms exposed and Sakamoto doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Curious screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
