The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold falls off balance throwing a combination

and Marbury counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cold won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cold is looking to regain half guard here but Marbury keeps moving and retains side control.

Marbury tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Cold manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marbury's best efforts.
Cold wants to control but Marbury is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cold is trying to stand.
Marbury wants to stand up but Cold is controlling the position.

Marbury is trying to control the action in half guard but Cold is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cold is looking to control Marbury's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cold avoid being mounted?

Marbury stands up and beckons Cold to join him on the feet.
Cold has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Cold decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Cold with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Cold wants to take a breather but Marbury is having none of it.

Kurt Cold has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Cold closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marbury's guard.
Marbury seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Cold throws a strike but Marbury rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Marbury throws an elbow that misses. Cold uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Marbury's guard. Nice move by Cold!

Marbury is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cold has his hands clasped together but Marbury extends and breaks Cold's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Marbury.
