Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anibal Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beslan Shamhalaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beslan Shamhalaev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamhalaev darts in trying to clinch

and Hammond counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hammond.
Shamhalaev lands a nice uppercut.

It looks like Anibal Hammond has been cut.
Hammond's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hammond is trying to pull guard but Shamhalaev has him pressed against the cage.
Shamhalaev looking to throw knees to the head but Hammond is blocking nicely.
Shamhalaev misses with a hook from the clinch.
Shamhalaev tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Hammond gets control of Shamhalaev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hammond will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hammond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hammond is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Shamhalaev presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Shamhalaev throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hammond blocks it with crossed arms.
Shamhalaev blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Shamhalaev prevents the takedown attempt.

Hammond uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Shamhalaev tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Hammond holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Shamhalaev.

Hammond is rocked!
Hammond is pressed against the cage. Shamhalaev pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Hammond! Two more big strikes from Shamhalaev and Hammond crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
