The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owinashi throws a right and a left that Kreuger avoids nicely.
Owinashi avoids the body shot from Kreuger.
Owinashi works the jab nicely.


It looks like Dag Kreuger has been cut.

Owinashi drops Kreuger with a right and a left! Owinashi comes rushing in but Kreuger regains his composure and manages to keep Owinashi in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Owinashi tries to stand but Kreuger is controlling from the bottom.

Owinashi gets to his feet. Kreuger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Owinashi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Owinashi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dag Kreuger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owinashi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kreuger lands a slapping body shot.
Owinashi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Owinashi - that will leave a mark!
Owinashi lands a head kick!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Owinashi.

Owinashi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Owinashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kreuger lands a right hook to the body.
Owinashi lands a nice shot to the body.
Owinashi throws a nice looking combination but Kreuger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kreuger is defended easily by Owinashi.
Kreuger misses with an uppercut. Owinashi saw that one coming.
A left and a right from Kreuger both land. Nice combination.
Owinashi scoring well with a low kick there.
Owinashi throws a head kick but Kreuger moves out of range.

Owinashi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kreuger back to the cage. Owinashi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've been told by Owinashi's head coaches at Franklin D. Bluth Memorial Supergym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Owinashi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kreuger shoots in and drives through. Owinashi sprawls well.
Kreuger looks winded!
Kreuger lands a nice hook to Owinashi's body. Owinashi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Owinashi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kreuger.
Kreuger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Owinashi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kreuger scrambles back to his feet.

Kreuger is rocked!

Owinashi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kreuger, up you get!
Kreuger is still on wobbly legs! Can Owinashi finish him?
Owinashi wobbles Kreuger with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Owinashi dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Kreuger to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robert Owinashi!
Dag Kreuger was interviewed post fight and said 'He just happened to be the better man tonight, I won't make excuses. He beat me, hands down. I'll be back. '.
