Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Constantin Galca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galca has chosen DJ Rolando - Jaguar as his entrance music. Constantin Galca will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Galca closes the distance and pushes Butler back into the cage.

Butler gets to his feet - Galca follows without any prompting.

Galca has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Butler regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Galca seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Galca must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Butler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Butler wants to get back to his feet but Galca is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Galca tries for a takedown but Butler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
