The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall feints and then cracks Pitt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pitt down.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hall checks a leg kick.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pitt gets a clinch.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pitt.
Pitt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pitt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pitt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pitt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hall blocks a low kick nicely.
Hall blocks a head kick by Pitt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hall thows a body shot but no joy.
Hall throws a hook but Pitt avoids it easily.
Pitt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pitt gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pitt. Pitt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pitt is rocked!
Hall measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Pitt! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

In his post fight interview, Hank Hall started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
