Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamamoto Takiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto Takiyama is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takiyama slips a straight right by Lowe.
Lowe throws a big shot that misses.
Takiyama moves away from the strike by Lowe.
The fight stays on the outside here - Takiyama looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lowe swats away the attempt to clinch by Takiyama.
Lowe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Takiyama closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lowe thows a body shot but no joy.

Takiyama moves into range and clinches up with Lowe.
Lowe avoids the elbow strike from Takiyama, against the cage.
Takiyama tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lowe just stands there and leans against the cage.
Takiyama blocking some punches.
Takiyama creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lowe's defenses.
Takiyama throws an elbow but it misses.
Takiyama gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Nicky Lowe has been cut.

Lowe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lowe misses with a two punch combination.
Lowe misses with a looping left.
Lowe misses with an uppercut

and Takiyama holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Takiyama.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takiyama is trying to pull guard but Lowe has him pressed against the cage.
Takiyama lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Takiyama is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lowe pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nicky Lowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yamamoto Takiyama.
Takiyama lands a nice elbow.
Lowe is trying to stall.
Lowe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Lowe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Takiyama has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lowe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lowe swats away the attempt to clinch by Takiyama.
Lowe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Takiyama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Takiyama with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lowe to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Yamamoto Takiyama has been cut.

Takiyama clinches up with Lowe and pushes him back against the cage.
Lowe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takiyama has him pressed against the cage.

Takiyama gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lowe keeping moving, preventing Takiyama from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takiyama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lowe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lowe trying to keep a closed guard but Takiyama is proving a slippery customer.
Lowe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lowe trying to control but Takiyama is working from the bottom.

Takiyama is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lowe has his hands clasped together but Takiyama extends and breaks Lowe's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Takiyama.
