The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zupan tries to bum rush Todd with a series of wild strikes but Todd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zupan throws a combination that misses
and Todd counters with a body kick that stops Zupan in his tracks momentarily.
Todd takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zupan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zupan scores with a jab. Todd acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Todd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zupan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Zupan moves into the clinch successfully.

Todd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

letting Todd counter with a right hand.
No luck for Todd with that takedown attempt.
Todd has a takedown stuffed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Todd blocks a jab.

Zupan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zupan instigates a clinch.
Zupan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Todd has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zupan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Todd has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Zupan lands a hook to the side of the head.
Todd tries to break the clinch but Zupan is controlling the position.

Zupan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Todd takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Zupan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
