Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Ding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ding is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mortal Kombat. The Hunter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dick Ding!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ding takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter misses with a wild combination.
Hunter tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Ding counters by clinching up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hunter.

Hunter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ding throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Hunter is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The Hunter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ding fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ding closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hunter did well to prevent Ding getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ding is looking for a kimura but Hunter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ding to get the leverage.

Ding is nestled in close to Hunter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ding throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hunter was covering up waiting for the punch and Ding finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch but Ding swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ding connects with a leg kick. Hunter looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Nice uppercut lands for Ding. That snapped Hunter's head back.

Hunter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ding misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hunter.

Ding rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ding swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunter throws a leg kick which misses Ding's front leg but catches the back leg as Ding tries to avoid it.
Hunter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ding stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Dick Ding has been cut.
Hunter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ding.

Ding lands a leg kick that knocks Hunter off balance momentarily.
Hunter is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Ding's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Ding has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's time! Hunter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Ding is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hunter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ding wants to control but Hunter is keeping him busy.
Ding working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Ding has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
