Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morinho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Simmons might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to country grammer. Manny Simmons has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons scores with a shot to the body.
Simmons throws a body punch but Santos moves out of range.

Santos tests Simmons's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Simmons.

Santos throws a series of punches but Simmons avoids them all with ease.
Santos cracks Simmons with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A decent looking cross lands there for Simmons.

Simmons takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Santos drops Simmons with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Simmons looks back up at him and smiles so Santos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Santos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Simmons sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oh Simmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Simmons takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Santos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Simmons.

Santos tries to bum rush Simmons with a series of wild strikes but Simmons uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Santos is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Simmons had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Simmons will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Simmons throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Santos takes one to the side of the head.

Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Santos misses with the combination.

Santos lands a left and a right that send Simmons crashing to the mat, dazed. Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Santos circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Simmons to the canvas! Simmons doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Santos keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Morinho Santos decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Manny Simmons stepped up to the mic, saying 'That's what you call a fight right cheer. Brook's you the man brotha, I got you last time you got me this time. WHat you say one more fight down the road to settle this thin!'.
