The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson tries for a takedown but Wahl circles away easily

and Wahl counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dodson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wahl wants to pass the guard but Dodson is keeping the position.
Wahl has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dodson wants to stand up but Wahl is controlling him.

Wahl has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dodson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wahl is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dodson pulls down on the head and he's put Wahl to sleep! This one is all over!
