Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cedric Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karsten Feigel!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feigel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Feigel wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Feigel persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Feigel throws a strike aimed at the side of Miller's head but Miller avoids it well.
Feigel tries to score with some ground and pound. Miller controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Feigel is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Miller presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Miller is trying to pull guard but Feigel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Feigel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Feigel has picked Miller up - he's going for a ride! Feigel dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Feigel looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.

Feigel drives through with a takedown into Miller's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Feigel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Feigel in particular looking to stall.

Feigel stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Feigel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close second round but Karsten Feigel will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Feigel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miller sprawls well initially but Feigel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Feigel postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Miller to stand up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Feigel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Feigel thuds his shin into the meat of Miller's side.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Miller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Feigel was covering up waiting for the punch and Miller finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Miller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Feigel has wrist control.
Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Feigel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

I would just about give that final round to Karsten Feigel.
Well Feigel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
