Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herb Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt misses with a few strikes there.

Hurt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Hurt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hurt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Jackson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Hurt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson has his hands on Hurt's head, controlling the position.
Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hurt's guard.

Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hurt kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hurt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackson pulls Hurt in close to prevent any damage.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Hurt controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hurt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Herb Hurt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Hurt pushes him off.
Jackson lands a high kick!
Jackson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hurt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Hurt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson throws a head kick but Hurt moves out of range.

Hurt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hurt!

Jackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hurt has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hurt!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hurt wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jackson.

Arthur Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hurt is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jackson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jackson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
