The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Martinez moves into range and clinches up with Nixon.
Martinez tries for a takedown but Nixon manages to get underhooks.
Nixon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Martinez wants the takedown. Nixon is fighting it off but Martinez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nixon's guard against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martinez connects with a nice short shot to Nixon's temple.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Nixon will probably get the nod.
