Peak comes to the cage accompanied by Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden. Ricardo Oliveira struggled to make weight for this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peak misses the shot to the body.
Peak throws a series of punches but Oliveira moves out of range.
Peak waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Oliveira.

Peak drives through and clinches with Oliveira against the cage.
Peak misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Peak fails to land.
Peak avoiding damage as Oliveira throws knees to the body.
Oliveira pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Peak avoids a wild elbow strike from Oliveira.

I was talking to Peak's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Peak tries to stall but Oliveira uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Oliveira takes a shot to the body in his stride.
and Peak counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Oliveira! He's just covering up as Peak starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

After the fight, Eddie Peak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
