The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in looking for a takedown but Felterbush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Man's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Felterbush misses with a left hand
and Man counters with a leg kick.
Man tries for a takedown but Felterbush circles away easily
and Felterbush counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Little Man has been cut.
Felterbush throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Man gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Felterbush stops a takedown attempt from Man.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Felterbush gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Man tries to score a body lock takedown but Felterbush shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Felterbush tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Man goes for a takedown in the clinch but Felterbush prevents it.

Man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Felterbush throws the left hand but Man avoids the punch easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Felterbush enables Man to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Felterbush manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Felterbush swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Felterbush is pulling down on Man's head. It's preventing any offense from Man, at least for the moment.
Felterbush's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Felterbush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
