Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melih Pulcu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Ronne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulcu comes to the cage accompanied by Martin Garrix - Animals. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pulcu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ronne moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ronne pulls Pulcu in close to prevent any damage.
Pulcu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ronne on the ground.
Ronne is trying to control the position from the bottom.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pulcu is defended easily by Ronne.

Pulcu instigates a clinch.
Ronne is trying to drag Pulcu to the mat but Pulcu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ronne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ronne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ronne is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ronne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pulcu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ronne has managed to get both his arms back between Pulcu's legs - danger averted.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Raimo Ronne wasn't active enough on the ground.

It looks like Melih Pulcu has been cut.

and Pulcu moves into the clinch.
Pulcu keeps control of Ronne as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pulcu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ronne walks away with a smile on his face. Pulcu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pulcu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ronne - the referee stops the clock and Pulcu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ronne. Pulcu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ronne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pulcu is trying to maintain the position but Ronne is very close to passing his half guard.
Ronne is trying to control the action in half guard but Pulcu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ronne wants to pass to mount but Pulcu is defending the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ronne connects with a nice short shot to Pulcu's temple.
