Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucca Bragatonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucca Bragatonov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Gaines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Bragatonov!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bragatonov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gaines napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gaines manages to get back to half guard.
Bragatonov with the ground and pound but Gaines uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Gaines will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bragatonov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bragatonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gaines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bragatonov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gaines's guard.
Gaines looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bragatonov wants to get up but he can't break Gaines's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Gaines working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bragatonov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bragatonov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bragatonov wants to stand but Gaines is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gaines utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gaines is on top in guard.
Gaines postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bragatonov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lucca Bragatonov wasn't active enough on the ground.
Gaines backs away from a small jab... but Bragatonov lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Gaines crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Bragatonov with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Lucca Bragatonov!
