Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Passe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerry Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adrian Passe!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore is looking to clinch.
Passe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Moore counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Passe is looking to stand up but Moore isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Passe manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Passe's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Moore avoiding damage as Passe throws knees to the body.
Passe pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Moore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Passe smiles and moves away.
Passe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Passe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Moore counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Passe!
Passe looks winded!

Moore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A combination from Passe does no damage.
Moore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Passe.
Passe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Passe closes the distance and clinches.
Passe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Moore.

Moore breaks the clinch.
Passe walks into a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore throws a low kick but it's checked well by Passe.
Passe throws a combination that misses

and Moore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moore.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Passe is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Moore is defending well for now.
Moore can't break the clinch.

Moore gets control of Passe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moore will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Passe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Passe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Moore looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Moore not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Passe prevents Moore from getting back to his feet.

Moore is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Passe presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Moore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Passe's efforts to push away.

Moore is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Passe to keep the fight standing.

Passe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Passe is trying to push Moore away but Moore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Moore tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Passe just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moore decides to pull guard.
Moore tries to strike from the bottom.

Moore scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Passe moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Moore ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moore no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Passe is looking to work some ground and pound but Moore has wrist control.
Passe lands a couple of elbows.
Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Passe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Passe stands and steps away. Moore gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Passe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Passe closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Passe prevents a takedown attempt there.
Passe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerry Moore will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jerry Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Moore has his feet on Passe's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Moore clinches up with Passe and pushes him back against the cage.
Passe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Moore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Passe walks away with a smile on his face. Moore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Moore lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Passe has closed the distance and engaged Moore in a clinch.

Passe struggles to land a body shot inside as Moore controls his hands.

Passe manages to break the clinch.
Moore dodges the punch combination from Passe.
Passe is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Passe, right into the meat.
Passe looks to land a combination but Moore avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes from Passe. Those never looked like landing.
Moore cracks Passe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Passe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moore fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Passe moves into the clinch successfully.
Moore tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Passe is trying to force a seperation but Moore has the dominant position.
Passe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Moore fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Passe is pressed up against the cage. Moore has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Passe down to the mat. Passe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Passe throws a left and a right that both miss

so Moore counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Passe wants to stand but Moore is controlling the position.
Moore sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Moore decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Passe, up you get!

Moore will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Passe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Moore to score with a decent uppercut.
Moore blocks a jab.

Passe pushes Moore up against the cage in a clinch.
Moore jumps guard but Passe stands there with Moore around his waist. Moore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Passe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Passe tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Moore avoids it.
Passe struggles to land a body shot inside as Moore controls his hands.

Passe lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Moore.
Passe is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Moore is defending well for now.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Passe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Passe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Moore is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Moore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Passe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moore circles away quickly and effectively.

Moore is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Moore pulls Passe into guard.

Passe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Passe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Passe has gone for a leg lock! Moore slips out almost immediately though and dives into Passe's guard.
Passe wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Adrian Passe.
I think Passe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
