The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger loads up on a big right hand but Slash slips the punch.
Kruger just misses with a punch to the body.
Kruger cracks Slash with a good jab.
Kruger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Slash closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Slash is rocked!
Kruger misses with an uppercut.
Kruger misses with a shot to the body
and Slash counters by moving into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slash has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kruger is trying to keep an underhook but Slash manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kruger looking for subs from the bottom but Slash mounts him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
