Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jacobs looks to land a combination but Jo avoids it well.
Jo doesn't manage to clinch there - Jacobs circles away.
Jacobs scores with a decent looking hook.
Jo tries to clinch but Jacobs is having none of it.
Jo wants to clinch.
Jo fails with a takedown attempt.
Jacobs scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jo doesn't seem bothered though.
No joy there for Jo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jacobs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jo moves in looking to clinch but Jacobs pushes him off.
Jo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jacobs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jo somewhat.

Jacobs feints and as Jo raises his hands in defense, Jacobs changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jacobs rolls with it to try and escape but Jo cranks on the arm and Jacobs is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
