The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalhaes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Savage.
Savage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

We've been hearing reports that Magalhaes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Magalhaes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
