PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruda Mrakomor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa comes to the ring accompanied by mama said knock you out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa clobbers Mrakomor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Balboa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mrakomor.
Balboa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters circling a little - Balboa finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mrakomor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Balboa can pounce on him.
Mrakomor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Mrakomor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mrakomor looks to land a left hand but Balboa moved out of range nicely.

Balboa closes the distance and clinches up with Mrakomor, looking for a takedown. Balboa pushes Mrakomor against the ropes but Mrakomor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ruda Mrakomor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frankie Balboa.
Well Balboa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
