PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrion Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by In Exile - Thrice. Lannister has chosen the whores of westeros as his entrance music. Ethan Harris had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lannister drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lannister keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Harris's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris has momentary wrist control but Lannister slips an elbow through the middle.

Lannister scoring with some ground and pound.
Lannister passes easily into side control. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harris wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Harris is breathing heavily.
Lannister scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Harris to see if he's OK.
Lannister lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Harris down.
Harris is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Lannister connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Harris some visible discomfort.

Lannister tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Harris's coaches at SS Elite *$100 ELITE LEVEL SPARRING AND COACHES* have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Lannister is working to tighten his grip on Harris's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Harris has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lannister is really squeezing tight and eventually Harris passes out! Lannister breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Tyrion Lannister really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Just Fight (Everything 7$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
