The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrogue uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Vitonen avoids the head kick by Shamrogue.

Vitonen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vitonen keeping moving, preventing Shamrogue from controlling successfully.
Vitonen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shamrogue. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shamrogue gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Vitonen sizes up Shamrogue with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Shamrogue throws a head kick but Vitonen moves out of range.

Shamrogue closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vitonen to the mat! Vitonen manages to get full guard.

Vitonen tries to kick Shamrogue off but Shamrogue keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Shamrogue works his foot free and advances to mount.

Shamrogue is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Vitonen is forced to tap! Great finish!
