Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hood misses with a jab, cross combination.
Done moves out of range as Hood strikes.
Hood misses with a straight left.
Hood throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Done closes the distance and clinches.
Hood fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Done blocks an elbow strike from Hood.

Hood manages to break the clinch.
Done moves out of range as Hood strikes.
Done steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hood.
Hood throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hood dips to his left and cracks Done with an uppercut!

It looks like Geter Done has been cut.
Hood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Done.
Done circles away from the clinch attempt

and Done counters with a single leg into guard. Hood didn't expect that.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hood wriggles free and stands up.
Hood darts in trying to clinch

and Done counters with a takedown into side control.

Done wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hood, who protects the arm well.
Done prevents Hood from escaping the position.
Done advances to mount.

Done has control of Hood's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hood regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hood's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
BOOM! Done connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hood is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
A nice elbow there by Done.

Done looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hood is trying to stand up.
Done unloading with bombs!

Hood is squirming around, avoiding Done's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hood is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Done content just to control the position here.
Hood tries to reverse the position but Done maintains control.

Done working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Done looks gassed!
Hood is trying to stand up.

Done is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hood is surviving well by controlling Done's body position as best he can.

Done won't let Hood get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Done stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Done shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hood as he avoids it easily.
Hood tries to clinch but Done moves away

and Done counters with a single leg into guard. Hood didn't expect that.
Done working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Done trying to control the position from guard on top but Hood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hood has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Done off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Hood looks to land a combination. Done sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gordon Hood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hood looks to land a left hand but Done moved out of range nicely.

Hood misses with a looping left.
A big right from Hood misses.
Hood throws a left and a right that both miss

and Done counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hood's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Done passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Done wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hood keeps working.
Hood is trying to buck Done off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Done working the head with strikes.
Hood misses with a strike from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hood is trying to get back to half guard.
Done is looking to take a break and control but Hood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hood is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Done has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Geter Done dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Geter Done's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A big right from Hood misses.
Hood is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Done slips under a jab from Hood.
Done tries to clinch up but Hood circles away and keeps his distance.
Hood jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hood, as that shot connected.
Hood sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Done's defenses. It connects perfectly with Done's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
