Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mibon Turua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Gillmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mibon Turua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Gillmore!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillmore uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turua has time to react.
Gillmore pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turua back to the cage. Gillmore follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gillmore misses with a low kick as Turua jumps back.
Turua shoots for a takedown but Gillmore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turua has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A punch combination from Turua misses.
Turua takes one to the side of the head.
Turua dives in and scores a takedown into Gillmore's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gillmore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gillmore wants to stand up but Turua is controlling him.
Gillmore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turua doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turua manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Turua has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Turua throws an elbow that misses. Gillmore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Turua's guard. Nice move by Gillmore!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gillmore working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turua blocks a low kick nicely.
Turua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gillmore sprawls well. Gillmore wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turua gets slowly back to his feet.
Gillmore with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Turua dives in for a single leg takedown but Gillmore sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mibon Turua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gillmore scores with a knee to the head.
Gillmore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gillmore throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Gillmore connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gillmore stuffs the takedown attempt from Turua. Turua gets slowly back to his feet.
Gillmore shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Turua eats them both and turns towards Gillmore to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gillmore lands a jab.
Turua fails with a takedown attempt.
Turua avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turua shoots in and drives through. Gillmore sprawls well.
Gillmore misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gillmore throws a nice looking combination but Turua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gillmore shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Turua eats them both and turns towards Gillmore to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gillmore lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Turua backs up against the cage.
Turua is rocked!
Gillmore grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Turua takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gillmore cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Gillmore!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Martin Gillmore waved his t-shirt featuring Zipp Zapp's logo in front of the cameras.
