The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dance drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dance connects with a couple of short punches.
Campion is trying to keep Dance in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dance with a flurry of punches that miss.
Campion looking for a sweep. Not yet Campion, not yet.
Dance is working Campion over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dance is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Dance makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dance lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dance tries to pass the half guard into mount. Campion knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dance perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Dance lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dance lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Dance works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dance with shots to the head and body - Campion looks very uncomfortable down there.
Dance landing strikes from the mount.
Dance has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Campion's face.

Dance lands a couple of good shots and Campion has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dance has Campion flattened out and is raining down punches.
Dance lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Dance.
Campion is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Campion takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Dance scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Dance punches Campion on the ear.
Dance lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Dance lands punches and elbows.
Campion grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Dance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dance connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Campion to escape the position.


Campion is rocked!
Dance scores with punches and elbows.
Campion is still in real trouble! Can Dance finish him?
Dance is landing with strikes from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Dance dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Dance shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Campion is on queer street and Dance is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). David Dance!
An out of breath David Dance thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
