Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Garfield Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kong Zhen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong Zhen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Garfield Morrison's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Zhen.
Morrison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kong Zhen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhen lets loose with a powerful body kick. Morrison will feel that in the morning.
Morrison just misses with a punch to the body.
Zhen throws a head kick that misses.
Zhen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zhen rushes Morrison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Morrison cracks Zhen with a big right hand but Zhen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Morrison goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Zhen rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Morrison's guard! Nice work there by Zhen!

Zhen wants to stand and escape but instead Morrison has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Morrison is in close to Zhen's body, working some short punches and elbows.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morrison is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zhen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Morrison.

Zhen lands a leg kick that knocks Morrison off balance momentarily.

Morrison is trying to break the clinch but Zhen is controlling him.

Zhen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zhen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zhen has momentary wrist control but Morrison slips an elbow through the middle.

Morrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zhen is trying to hold Morrison in close to prevent damage but Morrison has managed to pass into half guard.

Zhen is defending against the submission attempts here by Morrison.
Morrison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zhen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Zhen is looking to control Morrison's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zhen avoid being mounted?

Garfield Morrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Zhen tries to kick Morrison off but Morrison keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Zhen wants to control the action here but instead Morrison manages to pass to full mount!

Morrison takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Morrison pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Morrison lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Morrison! Zhen is hurt baaadly! Morrison is firing away with more strikes - Zhen is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
