The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Croix tries to close the distance and clinch but Kraken swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brian St Croix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
St Croix slips a jab and a cross from Kraken .
Kraken throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent St Croix stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
St Croix wants to clinch
enabling Kraken to counter with a crisp jab.
Kraken lands a nice shot that snaps St Croix's head back.
Kraken dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
St Croix tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kraken swats him away and circles back towards the center.

St Croix doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kraken lands with a light punch inside.
Kraken throws a head punch that misses.

St Croix is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kraken is defending well for now.
Kraken is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

St Croix drops Kraken with a big knee straight up the middle! Kraken is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

St Croix putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kraken in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
St Croix has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Kraken - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from St Croix, and another! Kraken is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
