The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King with a hook.
King cracks Bob with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. King has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bob to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bob shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Bob on that attempt.
Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chris King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King weaves into range and cracks Bob right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bob goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! King is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris King!
Chris King spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
