Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Soren Kierkegaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bayden Wood Jr !
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kierkegaard throws a right and a left that Wood Jr avoids nicely.
Wood Jr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wood Jr moves away from the strike by Kierkegaard.
Wood Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kierkegaards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kierkegaard thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wood Jr throws a hook but Kierkegaard blocks it.
Kierkegaard is looking to chop away at Wood Jr 's legs.
Wood Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Soren Kierkegaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kierkegaard pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wood Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kierkegaard manages to avoid it.
Kierkegaard tries to move into range but Wood Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


It looks like Soren Kierkegaard has been cut.
Wood Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
Kierkegaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wood Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wood Jr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kierkegaard swivels and escapes.
Kierkegaard moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Wood Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kierkegaard finds it's way round the side to connect with Wood Jr 's head.

Wood Jr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kierkegaard to score with a decent uppercut.
Kierkegaard shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kierkegaard lands a lovely overhand right.
Kierkegaard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Kierkegaard has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Wood Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kierkegaard is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Wood Jr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kierkegaard won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wood Jr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kierkegaard, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Kierkegaard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kierkegaard tries to buck Wood Jr off but Wood Jr is having none of it.
Kierkegaard is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wood Jr is controlling him well.

Kierkegaard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wood Jr off and has taken his back!

Kierkegaard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kierkegaard throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Wood Jr trying to control the action but Kierkegaard just sinks the hooks in.
You can see the frustration on Wood Jr 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kierkegaard has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Wood Jr has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kierkegaard somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kierkegaard punches the canvas rather than the man.
Will Kierkegaard go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kierkegaard has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Wood Jr .
Wood Jr finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
Wood Jr is trying desperately to improve position.

Kierkegaard wants to control the pace but Wood Jr is squirming around nicely.
Kierkegaard unloads with some shots from mount but Wood Jr bucks and avoids them well.
Wood Jr tries to hold on but Kierkegaard postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kierkegaard lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wood Jr holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kierkegaard tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Kierkegaard pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kierkegaard sizes up Wood Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wood Jr misses the shot to the body.
Kierkegaard is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kierkegaard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wood Jr back to the cage. Kierkegaard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wood Jr moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kierkegaard thows a body shot but no joy.
Kierkegaard just misses with a punch to the body.
Kierkegaard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Donk. Kierkegaard catches Wood Jr right on the button with a cross.

Wood Jr throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kierkegaard connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kierkegaard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Wood Jr is rocked!
Kierkegaard lands a nice hook to Wood Jr 's body. Wood Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wood Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Kierkegaard finish him?
Kierkegaard's corner calls for a 1-2. Kierkegaard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
BOOM! Kierkegaard lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wood Jr . Wood Jr tries to recover but Kierkegaard is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wood Jr lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soren Kierkegaard!
A very excited looking Soren Kierkegaard made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
