And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jakinek Jakinek!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakinek looks to land a combination. Kirkpatrick sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kirkpatrick dives in for a single leg takedown but Jakinek sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kirkpatrick throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kirkpatrick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kirkpatrick has hold of one of Jakinek's legs. Jakinek is fighting the takedown attempt but Kirkpatrick gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kirkpatrick stops Jakinek from standing up.
Jakinek is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kirkpatrick dives into side control.

Kirkpatrick is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jakinek looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kirkpatrick gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jakinek is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kirkpatrick lets go of the hold and Jakinek can pop his arm back in it's socket.
