Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lena Thorevska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorevska cracks Reid with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Reid fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thorevska avoids it really well and circles away.
Lena Thorevska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorevska throws a lazy right hand but Reid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Thorevska looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reid is trying to maintain the position but Thorevska is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
