Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerardo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mcfatten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gerardo Wolf has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Mcfatten!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcfatten seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wolf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Mcfatten is pressed up against the cage. Wolf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mcfatten down to the mat. Mcfatten avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Mcfatten counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mcfatten.

and Mcfatten counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wolf's guard now.
Mcfatten tries to free his leg and advance position but Wolf is retaining full guard.
Wolf is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mcfatten can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wolf is nestled in close to Mcfatten, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John Mcfatten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mcfatten takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wolf tries to clinch up but Mcfatten circles away and keeps his distance.

Wolf is trying to control but Mcfatten manages to pass to mount!

Mcfatten gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

I would just about give that final round to John Mcfatten.
I've got Mcfatten winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
