Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregorio Burks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gregorio Burks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fisher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burks as he avoids it easily.
Burks takes a swing at Fisher's ribcage but misses.

Burks avoids a wild elbow strike from Fisher.

Fisher is pressed up against the cage. Burks has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fisher down to the mat. Fisher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Burks. No joy for Fisher on that attempt.

Burks takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fisher wants to clinch.
Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch but Burks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fisher moves in looking to clinch but Burks pushes him off.
Burks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fisher swings for the body but Burks moves out of range.

Burks is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fisher to keep the fight standing.

Fisher has a closed guard, preventing Burks from standing up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
You can see the frustration on Fisher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Fisher clinches up with Burks and pushes him back against the cage.
Burks is looking to take this one to the mat.

Burks goes for a takedown attempt but Fisher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Burks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fisher has his hands on Burks's head, controlling the position.
Fisher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fisher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Burks bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Burks postures up in Fisher's guard and throws a big left but Fisher blocks it.

Fisher has control of Burks's left arm, preventing Burks from doing any damage.

Burks tries to clinch there but Fisher circles away.
Fisher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Burks counters by moving into the clinch.

Fisher changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Burks fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Fisher throws a chopping leg kick but Burks manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Fisher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burks sprawls well. Burks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet.
