Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Dostojevskij (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski's entrance music is Burn It Down by Five Finger Death Punch. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski throws a right and a left that Dostojevskij avoids nicely.

Dostojevskij has his foot on Arlovski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arlovski works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dostojevskij throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arlovski counters with a three punch combo that has Dostojevskij backing up. Dostojevskij nods at Arlovski to acknowledge the strikes.
Arlovski drops Dostojevskij with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dostojevskij looks back up at him and smiles so Arlovski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Arlovski lands with a big right hook that stumbles Dostojevskij - he's out on his feet here! Arlovski follows up with another monster hook that separates Dostojevskij from consciousness! Dostojevskij falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Arlovski stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
