The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putski throws a looping overhand right but Bordado ducks down to avoid it.
Putski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bordado manages to avoid it.
Putski has his takedown stuffed
and Bordado counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Putski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Putski misses the body punch
and Bordado counters with a nice uppercut.
Putski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bordado counters with a stiff right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bordado ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Putski with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bordado counters with a nice right hand that sends Putski toppling to the canvas! Putski scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bordado finish him?!
Putski is rocked!
Ivan Putski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bordado lands with a big right hook that stumbles Putski - he's out on his feet here! Bordado follows up with another monster hook that separates Putski from consciousness! Putski falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Bordado stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joaquin Bordado!
