Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Rockin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matrim Cauthon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cauthon walks into a stiff left hand from Rockin.

Rockin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cauthon has time to react.
Cauthon connects with a leg kick. Rockin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Rockin throws a right and a left that Cauthon avoids nicely.
Rockin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rockin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Matrim Cauthon's cut even more.

We've been told by Rockin's head coaches at Personal Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Rockin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rockin tries to get out of the position.
Rockin is trying to maintain the position but Cauthon is very close to passing his half guard.

Rockin wants to control but Cauthon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Rockin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cauthon on the ground.

Cauthon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rockin down.

Rockin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rockin has momentary wrist control but Cauthon slips an elbow through the middle.

Cauthon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rockin sprawls well. Rockin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cauthon gets slowly back to his feet.

Cauthon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Rockin is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cauthon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Rockin from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cauthon! Great finish!
