Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Murdoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leanne Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leanne Douglas!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdoch looks for the body kick but Douglas saw that one coming.
Murdoch throws a left and a right that both miss

and Douglas counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Murdoch down! Douglas is looking to finish but Murdoch is intelligently defending himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murdoch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Douglas's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dean Murdoch will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Leanne Douglas.
Well Douglas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
