The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Nuppi.
Nuppi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fondelier manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fondelier swats away the attempt to clinch by Nuppi.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Fondelier blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fondelier is leaning against Nuppi and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Nuppi is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Nuppi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nuppi wants to clinch up but Fondelier keeps it at a distance.
Nuppi needs to keep his hands up - Fondelier had a free shot at his head there.
Fondelier ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fondelier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fondelier lands with an overhand left.
Fondelier connects with a superb combination that knocks Nuppi out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Fondelier before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Nuppi!
