The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries for a takedown but Shaw circles away easily
and Shaw counters with a good low kick that Smith was not able to check.
Shaw tried to score with a low kick but Smith checks it.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith misses with a kick to the body
and Shaw counters with a low kick, right behind Smith 's knee.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaw paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shaw swivels and escapes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omar Shaw.
Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
