Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan McVie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Go to Sleep blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McVie misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones lands with a nice combination. McVie backs away looking to recover.
Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Jones jabs McVie right on the nose. McVie blinks but takes it well.
McVie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Nice cross by Jones.
Jones lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McVie's head backwards.
Logan McVie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.
McVie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McVie backs up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McVie shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Juan Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan McVie.
Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Jones feints and then cracks McVie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McVie down.
McVie takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.

McVie is rocked!
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McVie is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
McVie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.
McVie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McVie seems to have recovered his senses.
McVie looks gassed!
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McVie backs up against the cage.
McVie looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McVie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McVie moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McVie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for McVie.
McVie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with McVie's head.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Juan Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones lands a two punch combo.
Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.
McVie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McVie takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jones rushes McVie with punches - McVie moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, McVie goes down! Jones follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
