The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keise takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Phillip Gardner has been cut.
Keise misses with an uppercut. Gardner saw that one coming.
Keise throws a shot from downtown. Gardner moves away and avoids it.
Keise throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Gardner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Keise's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gardner gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Keise misses with an uppercut.
Keise looks to land a right hand but Gardner moved out of range.
Keise throws a hook but Gardner avoids it easily.
Keise dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gardner slips under a jab.
Keise shoots for a double leg takedown but Gardner sprawls well. He's pushed Keise's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gardner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gardner leaves his chin hanging out and Keise seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Gardner crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
