Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pete Gibbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Parkes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbon comes to the cage accompanied by Chase & Status Ft. Moko - Count On Me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Parkes!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parkes gets caught flat footed, as Gibbon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gibbon won't allow Parkes to sweep him here.
Parkes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gibbon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Parkes controls Gibbon momentarily but Gibbon frees himself.

and Parkes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gibbon's guard now.
Gibbon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parkes manages to get himself to full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Terry Parkes.
Well Gibbon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Pete Gibbon spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
