Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisgoros Astraph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Honda Toyota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toyota has chosen Breaking a Sweat by Skrillex & The Doors as his entrance music. Honda Toyota has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Honda Toyota!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astraph connects with a solid leg kick.

Astraph closes the distance and pushes Toyota back into the cage.
Toyota throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Toyota has clasped his hands together around Astraph's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Astraph is trying to control Toyota's posture but Toyota avoids it.
Astraph is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Toyota is controlling him well.

Toyota stands up.
Astraph lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Astraph gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Toyota to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Toyota's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toyota keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Astraph's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toyota prevents Astraph from getting back to his feet.
Astraph could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Toyota drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Toyota jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Toyota controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Toyota passes Astraph's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Toyota moves into full mount! Astraph won't be happy about that!

Toyota working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Astraph looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Toyota! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Honda Toyota!
Honda Toyota decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
