The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lee duly obliges.

It looks like Opa Lainen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lainen misses with a hook.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee is looking to clinch but Lainen is avoiding it.

Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lee throws a head kick but Lainen moves out of range.

Lainen shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Lainen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee throws a front kick that sends Lainen stumbling back into the cage.
Lainen is breathing heavily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee clobbers Lainen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee connects with a solid leg kick.
Lee lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lainen takes a step back to recover.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Opa Lainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ji Sun Lee.
Lee thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lainen if he has to take too many more of those.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
