The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connell misses with a looping right.
Connell connects with a jab.
We've been told by Harris's head coaches at Miletich Xtreme Fighting Systems that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Harris ducks under a wild hook from Connell.
Harris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Connell circles away quickly and effectively.
Connell misses with a straight left.
Harris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Connell doesn't seem bothered though.

It looks like Ian Connell has been cut.

The fighters circling - Connell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Harris throws a right hand that Connell ducks under and follows up with a left that Connell also avoids with ease.
Connell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Connell scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice uppercut there from Connell.
Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Connell scores with a jab.
Connell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harris.

Harris throws a body punch but Connell moves out of range.
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Connell drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Harris right on the button. Harris goes down! Connell follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Connell gets the win via TKO!
