The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walts misses with a combination

and Scott counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Scott.
Walts tries to circle away but Scott has him pinned against the cage.

Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott.
Scott dodges the punch combination from Walts.
Scott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Dallas Walts has been cut.
Dallas Walts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walts falls off balance throwing a combination

and Scott holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Scott breaks the clinch.
Scott shoots in but Walts avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Scott lands a big head kick that sends Walts tumbling to the mat! Scott takes a step backwards and waves Walts back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Walts is rocked!
Walts swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Scott counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Walts thinking.
Walts is still on wobbly legs! Can Scott finish him?
Walts looks winded!
OH! Walts has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Scott smells blood and charges in for the finish! Scott unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Walts sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
