Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Dutko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blue Belt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Dutko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Belt!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belt gets a takedown into half guard.
Dutko tries to get to full guard but Belt has control of the leg.
Belt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Belt missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Dutko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dutko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belt is working away from the top position though.
Dutko is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Belt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Dutko tries to roll over but Belt keeps him under control.

Belt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Belt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dutko sees it coming and defends easily.
Dutko trying to hold on to Belt's head to control him but Belt postures up.
Belt is pressing down on Dutko's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dutko is holding on for now.
Belt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Belt is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Belt drops an elbow to the side of Dutko's head.
Dutko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dutko wants to sweep here but Belt controlling him for the moment.

Dutko pulls Belt in close to prevent any damage.
Belt postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Dutko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Belt is one step ahead there.
Belt passes Dutko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dutko avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Belt.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Belt working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Dutko wants to control but Belt is keeping busy.
Dutko gets back to full guard.
Dutko trying to keep a closed guard but Belt is proving a slippery customer.
Belt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dutko works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dutko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Belt!
Belt wants to control but Dutko is having none of it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dutko trying to control but Belt is having none of it.

Dutko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Belt looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dutko wants to control the action but instead Belt gets a body lock and reverses into Dutko's guard! Nice work!
Belt advances position into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Dutko will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Belt moves into the clinch.
Belt has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dutko after a bit of a struggle.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dutko obliges.
Dutko throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Belt tries to pull guard but Dutko holds him up against the cage and eventually Belt drops back down to his feet.

Our sources have told us that Dutko has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Belt wants a takedown but no success here.
Bob Dutko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blue Belt.
Belt tries to break free but Dutko pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dutko throws an elbow but misses.
Belt can't break the clinch.
Dutko tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Belt avoids it.
Dutko gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Belt is working for takedown but Dutko is calmly controlling the position for now.
Belt misses with a hook to the ribs.

A frustrated look appears on Belt's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Belt pulls guard effortlessly.
Dutko wants to control from the top but Belt keeps moving.
Dutko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dutko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bob Dutko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Dutko wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Belt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dutko tries to avoid it but Belt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dutko to the ground. Dutko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blue Belt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dutko tries to get to full guard but Belt has control of the leg.
Dutko is pressing down on Belt's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Belt throws an elbow that misses. Dutko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Belt's guard. Nice move by Dutko!

Belt wants to sweep here but Dutko controlling him for the moment.

Dutko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Dutko is looking to pass into half guard but Belt pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Belt is in guard.

Blue Belt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dutko is pulling down on Belt's head. It's preventing any offense from Belt, at least for the moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bob Dutko showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dutko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
